The upturning baroque designs with a graffiti art anarchist flare... Jimmie Karlsson and Martin Nihlar, known as Jimmie Martin are the darlings of the rocknroll crowd with stars like Kylie Minogue, Pete Townshend, The Prodigy, Queen and the queen herself, Madonna, filling their homes with Jimmie Martin's edgy punk baroque designs. Not to mention the fact that the golden thrown on which Madonna made her grand entrance for her super bowl half time show? Jimmie Martin was behind that as well.

On getting their start...
"I went to a casting for a hair salon, and in the back of my portfolio I had pictures of a couple of my pieces. The lady in the salon said ‘My God, I love your pieces, use my shop window to display them’. So we did that, and a few months after, got a phone call from the Design and Decoration Awards – the most prestigious one at the time – who asked us to enter..."
