Clerkenwell Design Week – Recap
To continue our series about about Clerkenwell design week, we would like to introduce you the following talented creatives we really enjoyed discovering:
BIG TOMATO COMPANY
This company only produces 4 collections a year. Based in the Staffordshire Potteries,
we loved their ivory bone china and earthenware creamware , especially their draughtsman mugs – perfect mugs for designers !!!
Enamoured by the charcoal and graphite hand drawn images transferred to English bone china tableware and wallpapers.
KELLY HATT- SURFACE DESIGNER
Mixed media illustrations inspired by architecture , perspective, shape and repeat patterns using pens, papercuts and collages. Her works feature different cities (London, Paris).
Her techniques include embroidery with etched aluminium, hand-dyed fabric. We want her work on our office walls !
NOBLE AND WOOD
Crafted modernism…quality, attention to details, noble materials such as American Walnut, Italian Leather, Carrara Marble etc… seduced by the authenticity and passion of this precious little brand. Again, timeless.
