Architect Lord Richard Rogers on his Creative Process

Creative Mapping spoke with award-winning British architect, Lord Richard Rogers, in part one of our interview series, Lord Richard Rogers, a true modernist and visionary architect, where he discusses his architectural firm Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, sustainability, and his philanthropic work.

Lord Richard Rogers has made headlines for more than just his design creations, but also for his high-profile feud with Prince Charles. The Prince of England has notoriously tried to shut down Rogers's building projects, and in this second half of our interview, Rogers reveals to Creative Mapping what's really behind this much talked about clash of Prince and Lord.

In part two, Creative Mapping delves even deeper into the renowned architect’s Creative DNA. Rogers is the mind behind the design of cultural landmarks across the world such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Millennium Dome, the European Court of Human Rights, Lloyd buildings, Maggie's Centre London, the Madrid-Barajas Airport and Heathrow's Terminal 5 are a few among his long and impressive list of architectural designs.

"Architecture is very much about problem solving. Architecture is much more difficult when there aren't any problems" Lord Richard Rogers

Creative Mapping was invited to meet him in his home in Chelsea. This interview is part 2 of 2.
