AC/AL

AC/AL is a design studio founded in Paris in 2013 by Amandine Chhor and Aïssa Logerot, both having met at ENSCI Les Ateliers. Their co-founded studio AC/AL focuses on product and furniture design through various collaborations between industry and handicraft with their contemporary design projects sourcing from sustainable craft techniques in developing countries such as Cambodia, Cameroon and Morocco. Incorporating culturally specific techniques with innovations and new discoveries picked up during their travels and explorations of the fields of luxury, architecture, art and design.

“We are complementary in our work. We share the same vision of design and are passionate about materials, crafts and industrial manufacturing processes. We try to design objects and furniture that harmonize function and form, durability and everyday use. We like to work on functional and refined shapes which result from technical assembly and precise details.”–AC/AL
